Pi and More 12¼ Dec. 30, 2020

The Pi and More event series returns with an online Maker event on January 23. The day is filled with short talks and matching discussion opportunities around minicomputers and other Maker topics. In cooperation with the VHF conference, topics from the amateur radio sector will also be covered.

For example, the MuonPi project will demonstrate how cosmic rays can be measured with the Raspberry Pi and some additional hardware. Volunteers can use their own sensor to help locate cosmic ray showers three-dimensionally in space. Guido Burger (fab-lab.eu) will present how the new Raspberry Pi 400 can be used in education and STEM projects. As always, basic topics will not be neglected, for example with an introduction to programming network applications with Python.

These and many other topics are on the agenda, which will be published at the beginning of January. Contributions can still be submitted until January 9. Participation in the online conference is free of charge and possible without registration, only coffee and cake have to be provided by the participants themselves - unlike at previous events.
